This charming, mid-terrace cottage, in the centre of Windermere, can accommodate five people in three bedrooms.

Dizzy Duck Cottage is a a mid-terrace slate cottage in the heart of Windermere, just a short walk from the town's abundance of shops and pubs. The cottage is set over three floors, with a kitchen, a sitting room with gas fire and a shower room on the lower ground floor, a double bedroom and a family bathroom on the ground floor, as well as a further double bedroom and a single room on the first floor. Outside, there is an enclosed patio with furniture and roadside parking in a residential area for which permits for two cars are provided. Dizzy Duck Cottage is in a wonderful location for exploring the Lake District, all year round.

We had such a fantastic few days in Dizzy Duck Cottage. It is such a lovely, warm and welcoming cottage and we felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. It is in a perfect location with the shops and cafes of Windermere just a few minutes walk from the back door. We honestly couldn't find fault with the property and indeed, whilst we were there tried to rebook for our week off in May. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you very much.

We have been to the lakes many times & the Dizzy Duck was the best by far.

The Cottage itself was very comfortable with everything one could need. It was clean and well-furnished. Location and parking arrangements excellent.
Mr Lewis

Great location with easy access to the train station, buses, grocery store and cafes. There were nice, cosy furnishings and the gas fireplace was wonderful. There was a good, spacious sitting room, comfortable beds and nice bed sheets. We appreciated the pamphlets with suggestions of hikes and local attractions and overall had a very enjoyable stay.
Ms Leitch

This cottage was perfect. The location was excellent with Lake Windermere walking distance away and the many shops/convenience stores, restaurants and cafes practically on the doorstep were a bonus. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself was so cosy and homely. The general cleanliness was excellent and it had everything we needed for a self catering stay. Anyone looking to stay here would not be disappointed. I'll be recommending it to friends and family, and next time I'm planning another break I'm sure I'll stay here again.
