Immaculate apartment in a great location for sightseeing
This is a great place to use as a base for visiting nearby Salisbury, Winchester, the New Forest, Portsmouth, Chawton etc. We easily filled a week sightseeing and the Test Valley is beautiful. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you need in a kitchen if you don't want to eat in any of the local pubs. It's a real home from home. Lots of local information is provided and very useful OS maps are available to borrow. The mobile phone signal was hit and miss but a brief walk up the lane sorted this - not having a signal was actually quite nice! There is great WiFi though. The wine and biscuits on arrival were very welcome and greatly appreciated.

The Roost is in a great location with all the major tourist attractions within a short drive, and the owners were very welcoming and helpful with local information. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway and we would thoroughly recommend.
