Self Catering in Isle of Wight - Ventnor

This was a lovely stone cottage in a quiet area of Ventnor. The weather was kind and we were able to travel around the island easily by car.

We are cottage people. Lisle Combe Cottage is probably the most authentic cottage, in the true meaning of the word, that we have ever stayed in. It looks and feels like a cottage. It has a great position and location, smashing garden and is easy to find. Ventnor is very nearby, as are the Botanic Gardens, as well as many great pubs, generally serving food all day. The owner was also very welcoming. Excellent.

Lisle Cottage was lovely with added bonus of sea views, the owner was very helpful and we would highly recommend.

Adults and kids alike absolutely loved the cottage - especially sitting in the window seat looking out at the sea. It's rare to find a cottage that's been restored so you have good modern facilities while keeping the atmosphere of the old place.

We loved the area and there was so much for us to do with the children. Lisle Combe Cottage gave us a home away from home at the end of our action packed days. We were given a lovely warm welcome which got the entire week off to a lovely start. As my husband and I are shortly moving back to Australia, this was a very special week for us with our son and two little granddaughters - Lisle Combe Cottage gave us that very special time!
