Lovely location/views
Stayed for 2 nights with our friend who invited us. A little tricky to find initially but fortunately pulled up across the rd and 2 ladies pointed us in the direction. Saw the High House sign but coming from our direction didnt see it as it was on the side by the steps. Very homely/everything you needed. Loved the attic bedroom. Slept well in the King Size bed with stunning views of the hamlet. Wifi available from top floor. Quiet relaxing retreat.

A superb cosy cottage with a real fire, enclosed garden and even a summer house. It is in a very convenient location with a good local pub and within an hour of most of the Lake Districts main attractions.

A beautiful place and a lovely cottage. The owner was lovely and helpful. Had a wonderful stay, it was a home from home and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Cartmel is a stunning little village and the walks around are fantastic.

A lovely cottage with beautiful views from the garden. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and there was everything you need and more for cooking your own meals and relaxing inside on the bad weather days. There were lots of walks and things to do near to the cottage and a very friendly village. Everything was exactly as described and was very well presented.
