Great location and beautifully finished
I stayed here with my dog and two children and found it just perfect for us. Beautifully finished, it?s was cozy, warm and more than adequate for our break away. The location is excellent with great walks nearby and don?t miss Hawarden Estate Farm shop for lunch or Gladstone Library cafe for afternoon tea, a stunning building and experience in its own right. We found Tony a great host, very attentative and helpful. And I like the digital information pack he sent which was a useful start (you can find anything you want on the internet now a days, but I did appreciate this little gesture). The WiFi signal is brilliant, so we were all happy after busy days out. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Ms
We rebooked this cottage for a short break between Christmas and New Year as we stayed here last year and really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see a new kitchen had been fitted since our last visit. The enclosed back garden had also been landscaped and looked lovely. The cottage is so warm and has all the modern amenities that a family needs. We did a lot of sales shopping at Cheshire Oaks and also visited Chester again. A beautiful City. We are coming back in the summer for a family wedding and have rebooked Castle View Cottage.

Lovely holiday cottage
My family and I stayed in this delightful barn conversion for 5 nights. The access to walks with our dog, near the property were excellent and we enjoyed the wonderful Welsh countryside. The host, Tony, was extremely friendly and helpful and was readily available for us to recommend places of interest and places to eat. The cottage is beautifully finished and spotlessly clean throughout with excellent areas for eating and drinking both inside and outside the property. The modern kitchen and huge TV made our evenings very comfortable. Water was piping hot and with an excellent pressure. Bedrooms were also clean and lovely and warm. Excellent wifi for both me and the kids!! Great access to Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and the North Wales coast which we visited with ease. We will definitely be staying there again and would thoroughly recommend it to families. Thanks Tony.

Holiday
First impressions nice enough modern cottage. Not very toddler friendly (no bath). Good base for exploring the area although was disappointed no information about surrounding area, things to do, best places to eat etc, other cottages we've stayed at has a lot of helpful information.
