Lovely Week In The Lakes!
Very conveniently located half way between Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere. Windermere is only a 15 minute walk away and Bowness-on-Windermere in about a 20 minute walk. Cottage has all the facilities that's you could want for a week away from home with a well equipped Kitchen enabling me to cook meals easily. Private parking at this cottage is a real treat as you didn?t have to worry about where your car was at night. Owner had left a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate with hand wash and dettol spray in the cottage for us. This was a lovely touch and the hand wash and dettol spray was really handy when coming in from days out. I would definitely stay in this cottage again as it's very good value for money and very conveniently located.

Our holiday in Windemere
We had a brilliant stay in the cottage at Windemere. The cottage was beautifully furnished, clean and well-appointed, and situated just a short walk from a jetty, from which we were able to launch our kayak, the owners very kindly allowed us to use their pump to inflate our kayak. One of the nice finishing touches to our cottage was the bottle of prosecco waiting for us on arrival! There was lots of wildlife close to the area, including voles, many varieties of birds and deer in the adjacent fields. We had a fab stay here, and would recommend this cottage for families and couples alike.
