Great for the price!
15 of us stayed for a 30th birthday party and felt that some previous reviews were unfair. We had 7 cars and the man who welcomed us was very accommodating with parking. He had the hot tub on heated for us ready on the Friday of arrival. Our only issue with this is it did not get hot again on the Saturday when the man was unavailable. The shower was a bit of a trickle, pressure could do with looking at. We did not have bedding for the pull out sofa bed but again the man was accommodating and got us some straight away. For the price we paid we were very happy! The local pub in the village had also been newly refurbished and the landlord and chef were lovely!

Awful experience
We book Bryn Mechell house for a 40th birthday and we are very sorry we did.On arrival we were met by a lovely lady who showed us round and couldn?t be more helpful. We had a broken toilet seat which was sorted quickly It was a beautiful house but sadly let down and we had a few issues at our stay which completely ruined our holiday. There was an issue with the power while we were there. The toaster wasn?t working properly nor was the cooker or microwave which resulted in us eating out most of our stay which we really didn?t want to do.And we had to go back to basics to sterilise the babies bottles. The place wasn?t cleaned properly either we found stuff under the beds for the previous guests and there was stuff left in the fridge.one of the beds in the loft was broken. Washing machine and tumble dryer would cut off mid cycle leaving me with sopping wet clothes,we needed then because we had a baby with us. Parking was a problem if you had more than 2 cars. Also the pictures are completely deceptive.Theres a lodge right up against one of the sitting room windows and which isn?t shown online. Also there was work being done on the park which wasn?t mentioned! We found loose rat poison in an upstairs cupboard which litttle fingers could easily have got hold of even though they had a padlock the opened enough for enquisitive children as it was by the loft rooms. We could not contact management again as they wouldn?t answer calls. We even went and purchased a new toaster and that didn?t work so proved there was a problem. We were aware there was a power cut one day but the issues started before this. The hot tub had no lights to safely use it at night which was a shame. All in all out holiday was completely ruined and was only saved as we had another property booked for the weekend and we have never packed up so quick to leave. Hoseasons did part refund us as a gesture of goodwill. But there is no way we would return here.
