Self Catering in Gwynedd - Bala

Beautiful
Absolutely love this house, a home away from home, perfectly located for nearby shops & eating places. Bala Lake is only a ten min stroll away. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished so thoughtfully by Paul & Annmarie. An amazingly big bathroom was a pleasant surprise too! We had a very relaxing time away, less than an hour to most local days or destinations, or just stayed local. Recommend a visit if sunny to cool off in the River Dee under the bridge at Carrog! You can catch the train into Llangollen from there too. Hope we will visit again! Thank you! X

Most peacefull place to stay
My daughter in law book to stay week I spent 5 days there beautiful clean cottage ideal place to rest close to shops cafe pubs etc Bala lake with in walking distance I will be booking again And would recommend to family & friends

Wonderful stay
Recently stayed at the Old School House in Bala with our pup. It's a great property, Nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is ideal. Stones throw from shops and pubs (yet still very quiet and peaceful) and a short walk to the lake. We will definitely be back again soon.
