Wonderful Stay
Had a wonderful week staying in Allt An Dorran Cottage. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with terrific views of Salen bay. Despite it raining most of the week Scotland never disappoints with its scenery, colours and wildlife. Enjoyed a local boat trip along Loch Sunart, a visit to the Nevis range and a coastal drive up to Mallaig stopping off at the stunning beaches of Arisaig and Morar. Also enjoyed a visit to the local distillery and to the most westerly point of mainland Britain to see the lighthouse. Allt An Dorran is a terrific base to visit this area of Scotland, allowing you to relax or be as active as you wish. The locals are very friendly and welcoming providing excellent hospitality in the shops and restaurants and these offer superb locally produced food. Lastly, it is wonderful to see wildlife thriving in this unspoilt region, eagles, pine marten and seals were seen.
