A woodburning stove will warm you on snug nights settled on the pale grey sofas, with a TV mounted on the wall for entertainment, or simply continue your conversations over some evening drinks.The long traditional wood dining table has plenty of space for all, and is a wonderful way to come together at the end of the day, with views of the sea in the distance perfectly framed.On warm evenings you can sit out on the decking in the enclosed garden, taking in the lovely setting and looking out to the coast.
Go to sleep in the elegant double bedroom, with a full-length mirror to get ready in front of and built-in storage, you'll feel right at home, or bunk up with your friends in the double bunk room, home to two sets of bunk bed making excellent use of the space.The shower room is equipped with a spacious double enclosure, enjoy feeling refreshed under the hot water, before grabbing your toasty towel from the heated rail. A short stroll down the path you will quickly find yourself drawn to one of Rhosneigr's bustling shops,cafe's bars and restaurants.
Spend days on the beach at either one of Rhosneigr's two wonderful beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan where you can enjoy watersports in the sea and then store your paddleboards, kayaks and bikes in the lockable storage at the lodge. Llyn Maelog is a great spot for fishing with fishing allowed on the right bank, you can try your hand at catching some pike, bream or perch or practice your swing at the Anglesey Golf Club.Head down the coast to Newborough Beach during a walk along the coast, with amazing woodland backing the shores to be explored and Trearddur Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK, and is well-worth a visit for its white sands and clear blue waters.
Why not head to Holyhead on Holy Island for an exciting ferry trip to Ireland, sink a pint of Guinness among many other must-dos in Dublin, before coming back to this Welsh haven. Enjoy your Anglesey adventure from the comfort of Gardd Nainey.
