Tucked away in the village of Whittingham on the edge of the Cheviot Hills you will find The Poachers Pocket, a charming and characterful extended cottage featuring exposed beams, stone walls, wooden floors and a unique working range and Rayburn. Comfortable furnishings throughout and plenty of space for all the family, The Poachers Pocket will appeal to guests looking for the chance to stay in a traditional Northumbrian stone cottage with fabulous walks on your doorstep, the River Aln at the bottom of the garden and the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful countryside. With easy access to the market town of Alnwick, some of the most beautiful beaches as well as on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.

ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Entrance hall with utility cupboard housing washer/drier. Kitchen/Diner with dining table and chairs, open fire range, oil fired Rayburn ( new Range cooker installed, images to follow), 2 ring ceramic hob, electric oven, drawer style fridge and freezer, dishwasher, Belfast style sink, larder cupboard. Bedroom 3 with super-king-size bed (zip/link, can be twin on request) and fitted wardrobe.

Bathroom with freestanding bath, shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Steps up to lounge with comfy leather sofas, open fire, Smart TV with sound bar and DVD player. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with King size bed, wardrobes, wooden floor and garden views.

Bedroom 2 with two single beds, wardrobes, wooden floor, chest of drawers with views of Pele tower. Door to WC. OTHER FACILITIES Parking for 2 cars.

Oil central heating. Large garden to rear (not secure) with outdoor furniture the with River Aln running at the bottom of the garden. All power, linen and towels included in rent.
