Lovely stay
Me and my partner stayed at Ladycroft barn for a long weekend and loved it. On arrival we received a lovely gift basket , the barn itself was nice and clean & the living room felt very warm and homely! We settled in instantly. Netflix and utube on the tv was also nice for us. The owners were great , lots of recommendations for places to eat and drink. Which was nice as we?d never been to the area. If you want a lovely relaxing stay with nice walks and local pubs , definitely book!

Great relaxing holiday
Just got back from a five night break at this lovely barn. Accommodation was spot on for us as a family of four. Friendly and helpful owners and a lovely welcome hamper. The owner's dogs came every day for a fuss. Would definitely recommend and hopefully going back in the future.

Delightful accommodation and base to explore the area
We stayed here for 5 nights in October as a family group of 4 including elderly relatives. This barn conversion is very well appointed and put together and it is clear a lot of care and attention has been paid to it. It sits in the grounds of Ladycroft Farm whose owners, Peter and Annie couldn't have been more helpful in showing us around the property and making recommendations for things to do and see as well as the all important restaurant advice! Kniveton is a small village and it can be a little hard to find the entrance here. We went past it into the village and had to ask at the local pub so it might pay you to ask for detailed directions and pay attention to them which we failed to do. No big deal. The Barn itself consists of 3 bedrooms, a full shower room with a lovely walk in shower and an extra, separate toilet which is very welcome if there are 4 or 6 of you staying here. There is a very well appointed kitchen and a fine living/dining area all very well designed. October weather isn't the best for sitting out but there is a lovely patio to do so in more clement times. All in all this is a great place to stay for a few days or a week or even longer. There are a lot of nice walks, villages and sites around and the whole setting is peaceful and bucolic. Since we live out of the country, I fear that it's unlikely we will return to this part of the world in the near future but I would certainly recommend a stay here is you are looking for accommodation in this pretty part of the UK.

Wonderful week
We've just returned from a wonderful week at Ladycroft Barn. The house is beautifully furnished and it's clear that the owners have put a huge amount of effort into creating something so nice. They were always on hand to answer questions and give recommendations, and to show us their amazing gardens, land and animals. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely welcome pack of treats! A very relaxing week and definitely recommended.

fantastic stay
What a great spotless barn which has everything you will need inside, with the most stunning countryside surroundings which needs to be seen. The owners are very nice and helpful, it was obvious to me that the family have great pride in their home and land which made our stay very relaxing. There are many great walks and places to eat around the area. I would highly recommend Ladycroft Barn for a relaxing break away, we will be definitely going back at some point.
