A pretty thatched cottage in the charming town of North Tawton, with a range of shops and pubs near Dartmoor. Enclosed garden. Okehampton less than 8 miles.

This pretty thatched cottage is situated on the edge of North Tawton town, down a quiet narrow country lane in a terrace of similar properties within walking distance of shops and pubs. An ideal base for exploring Dartmoor and its historic villages, this beautifully-presented cottage is perfect for couples and small families. The sitting room is warm and cosy and leads to the dining room.

The exposed beams and stone fireplace give a sense to the history of this lovely cottage. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom feels romantic and spacious and, together with the single bedroom, the cottage can sleep a small family of three. The small garden at the rear of this cottage has a decked area with seating under the trees, a peaceful sheltered place to sit out in the evening.

As well as walks from the doorstep along flower-clad lanes, there is the splendour of the Dartmoor Tors or the gentleness of Abbeyford Woods to explore on foot or by bicycle; both are also fantastic for dog walking. Nearby, Okehampton offers lots of history including a castle and a Victorian shopping arcade, whilst the north and south Devon coastlines are only a short drive. A fabulous, well presented cottage in the heart of Devon, where a warm welcome awaits.
