Druidaig Lodge is a superb traditional lodge house nestled alongside the stunning Loch Duich near the Kyle of Lochalsh on the west coast of Scotland. Designed to house large parties and family gatherings, Druidaig Lodge is the perfect destination for that special get-together. An Edwardian sporting lodge, the house boasts a wealth of traditional features and offers ample space for entertaining, gathering and socialising.
The delightful sitting room and drawing room both offer a warm and welcoming sanctuary from the outside world with loads of snug seating areas, windows offering beautiful views over the loch and beyond and roaring log fires to really make you feel at home. For your entertainment there is a games room with a snooker table where the young ones (and not so young ones!) can get together and enjoy a game of snooker. Feeding your party is a pleasure not a chore in the wonderfully inviting kitchen which is suitably equipped to enable you to rustle up some delicious food before stepping into the elegant dining room which comfortably seats 12 and is the perfect spot for spending time enjoying relaxing meals and good company.
When bedtime calls, make your way to any of eight bedrooms and snuggle down for a good nightâs rest. The children will love the bunk beds and the small and cosy second-floor bedrooms whilst the remaining bedrooms should cater for any combination of guests. When you wake up after a refreshing nightâs sleep there is nowhere better to be.
Throw open the doors and let the children explore the extensive gardens while you enjoy some time alfresco with your favourite tipple while taking in the sublime loch views. It really doesnât get much better than that. Getting out and about is a must when you stay at Druidaig Lodge.
You can fish on Loch Duich and there is even a private slipway where you can launch your own boat! The region is a haven for walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and birdwatchers. If you want to indulge in some history then you must visit the famous Eilean Donan Museum which is close by and for the hustle and bustle of a town check out Kyle of Lochalsh which has a selection of shops, bars, restaurants and places of interest. Touring the Isle of Skye is an essential day out and itâs only a short drive from the house.
Time spent at Druidaig Lodge is time well spent.
