The Queen's Chapel has an interesting history. It was designed by Inigo Jones for the proposed marriage of Prince (later King) Charles to the Infanta of Spain. The marriage negotiations failed and the chapel was completed for Charles's eventual queen, Henrietta Maria. The chapel was used as a barracks during the Civil War.
