Hoarwithy is a pretty village perfectly placed for exploring the surrounding region of Herefordshire.

Healer’s Cottage is a lovely holiday home on the outskirts of the rural village of Hoarwithy. This delightful and welcoming 17th century stone built detached barn conversion is set in the owners’ 5 acre smallholding and boasts a lovely shared lawned garden and private patio with furniture, a peaceful spot in which to enjoy some al fresco dining, reached through French windows from the bedroom. The cottage offers an open plan living area including a well-equipped fitted kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and a warming wood burner.

The garden affords gorgeous views over the Wye Valley and the fields of this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Healer’s Cottage is a wonderful holiday retreat for a romantic break.

Enjoyed our stay in healers cottage, cottage has all you need including wi-fi, very peaceful just birds, also added bonus the donkeys who can make you laugh. Nice to have walks through the woods from cottage, country lanes can be narrow, but not far to Ross on Wye. Sheila's very nice ( the owner ) about if you need her but not intrusive, can use her washing machine if it's needed. So looking to go back next year

The cottage has all the comforts of home with woodland walks on the doorstep. It's so quiet and peaceful; the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing. The owner's donkeys are friendly and provide endless entertainment. Really appreciated the owner allowing us to bring our dogs. Wonderful stay.
Mrs Shaw

This is the perfect place to come for peace and quiet. Sitting outside the cottage, the only sounds are birdsong and the friendly and inquisitive donkeys, who belong to the owner. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The local area offers great natural beauty, with walks by the river nearby, or in the woods surrounding the property. I was sorry to have to leave, and will definitely be visiting again.

The cottage is set in quiet peaceful countryside and has everything you could possibly want. The only neighbours you have are the owners and the donkeys, our dogs fell in love with the donkeys. The cottage was so comfortable that on wet days we were quite happy to sit in, read our books and watch the wildlife. There are several local pubs that provide excellent food if you do not want cater for yourself. We cannot wait to return, it certainly was a healing time.
