It's the second time we?ve stayed here and as usual, It's been lovely. The house is very clean and well stocked and with sea views and only few meters from the beach and harbour, it's the perfect place to bring a large family. Very very impressed.

Neglected and dirty
Dear Pilar 4-6 July 2020 We wanted to give you some feedback, following our group booking weekend at Casa Marbella, Ramsgate. Prior to our break, communication from you stated quite clearly that the house was deep cleaned due to Covid and the extended closure since March. On arrival, we were quite surprised to find cleaners still present, as we were told we could arrive early. However this was insignificant in the whole scheme of things. Despite ?deep cleaning? and ?last minute? cleaning, the house remained dirty and sub standard. Windows inside and out were filthy - you explained the window cleaner let you down, but they were very dirty, including cobwebs on the inside in most of the bedrooms. Bedroom next to the lounge - kept having to spray to rid flies. Spillage marks on the walls and skirting boards. Smelt damp and generally not clean. First floor double room - curtain hanging off the rail, bird mess on the leather chair, dusty, the mirror was not cleaned at all Top floor front bedroom was dirty and unclean windows Basement shower room had hair in the cubicle, generally grimy and unclean Middle floor toilet, dirty flooring Dining Room - table was not cleaned adequately, with food and crumbs in the ?grooves? of the table. KItchen - chipped plates, no dishcloth. We bought wipes to be able to clean surfaces Basement - unable to open to air the property due to the pigeons trapped in the netting. Backyard - unable to use due to the pigeons, this area was grim, univiting, dirty and we were unable to use it during our stay. Only enough seats for 4 pers The property had so many rugs, causing trip hazards. The dining room one in particular was continuously catching on the chairs. The staircase was dangerous with one spindle coming out as we used the stairs near the first floor toilet. Need a better hoover for guests to use Our group has been to many rented accommodations for breaks, and felt that this was not to the standard we have experienced or were expecting.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed Goods points Very central for beach and shops. Bad Points We were first party in property after lock-down. Despite being told the property had had a deep clean it was dirty and dusty in places. There were a lot of rugs around which had corners curling up and were a trip hazard. Sitting Room 1. Dirty and dusty Ground Floor bedroom 1. kept having to spray to get rid of flies. 2. spillage marks on the walls and skirting boards 3. a damp smell 4. the window had to be propped up with a piece of wood that was on the window sill for that purpose. We however, could not have the window open to air the room out due to pigeons being in the wrong side of the netting. 5. The damp triggered off an asthma attack in one of our group. Courtyard patio could not be used 1. because of pigeons 2. not enough seating for the amount of people 3. it wasn't very appealing, very dirty walls and peeling paint 4. No barbecue despite being advertised as having one Kitchen 1. the front of one unit had the plastic coating coming off 2. Chipped and scratched plates 3. No dishcloth we had to buy wipes to clean up Downstairs shower room 1. Toilet cistern coming off wall, toilet was very high as was stood on blocks and was wobbly 2. Tile missing from wall 3. Plug for sink did not fit 4. Generally grimy and unclean Dining room 1. Table was dirty as had crumbs etc in the grooves 2. Rug was not big enough and when you pulled your chair in, the rug got caught causing a trip hazard Upstairs Toilet 1. The flooring was dirty Bathrooms Of which there was only one with a bath and shower. one was just a shower room with a toilet and sink, one was just a wc. I do not feel I can comment on rest of bedrooms as my friends stayed in the other bedrooms and are putting tgheir own comments on.

Perfect attention to detail. Casa Mar Bella has everything you need. Marvelous array of kitchen utensils and equipment. Quality towels and bedding, lovingly decorated and equipped. We holidayed with our family and there was, In addition to the spacious kitchen, a dining room that easily would seat everyone and more. Sea views and very efficient heating.

The house was lovely with a gorgeous view. It had a very homely atmosphere and was comfortable and clean.
