Value with a View
Myself, mum & son stayed here for 2 days over Christmas with my other family members here for a full week. I was pleasantly surprised with how much bigger the property was when we got inside & the layout worked really well for us all. I enjoyed a couple of nice walks with the dog, but in all honesty he had plenty of space in the secure garden to roam. The view from the living room just added to the cosiness of what was a relaxing break for us all. I particularly like the owners decision to stick the authentic farmhouse feel with lots of family items, books and beautiful pieces of furniture. We have already talked about returning in the Summer to experience a bit more of what the garden may have to offer.

wont be back im afraid
This house has the worst smell of damp in it , and all the furniture in it is very old can smell the damp of it as well. no wood for stove . and one of the stove fires wasnt working . Towels are horrible need replaced and the couch omg worst couch i have ever sat on . needless to say we had to come home early as the smell in house is horrible and fousty .NEEDS TO BE DEEP CLEANED. The carpets are filthy. Was no information on anything recent at all the only saver was the tennis table in games room . i could say more but wont , the couch so low to the floor i have come away with the worst backache ever . everthing there needs painted and refreshed very unhappy with our stay there

Fantastic cottage, location, ideal for dogs and children alike
We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay wished it was longer. Loch and walk to Kirriemuir just 5/7 mins up the road. All major towns just 25 to 40 mins away. The cottage had everything. Will be going again

A lovely spacious house with lovely views and a big dog friendly garden. Loved the games room and the diversity of the books around the house.

We loved it, it felt like a home rather than a holiday property. Brae of Airlie Farm was very comfortable and has a great kitchen, we loved the huge lounge. The wood burning stoves were burning when we arrived and the house was cosy and warm. Absolutely magnificent views
