A great family lodge, very well equipped and plenty of room
5 adults stayed in this lodge last week and we were very impressed with everything about the lodge as it had everything you needed for a good family holiday. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the lodge. Plenty of DVD's and books plus board games and jigsaws. We knew we would not be able to get WIFI so we all had a nice time without the phones etc!! The owner even left newly baked welsh cakes and home made jam and was so helpful and a joy to have that on holiday. As I am not good on stairs I had the downstairs double bedroom and the shower and toilet and wash basin was right next door. There is a very good utility room with washer and iron and board and plenty of hanging space for wet clothes and shoes.

Lovely large lodge - no 9
Lovely attention to detail in decor and bedding etc. Beds very comfortable and it is a great base for exploring. No phone signal or wifi . (Which could be seen as a good or bad thing). Welcome pack provided by the owners which is lovely - incl Welshcakes and homemade marmalade (which is to Die for- sooo nice!). Well equipped for cooking as days / evenings in and a washer and dishwasher which are great additions). Bit of noise when loos are flushed and when the hot water turned on (noisy in the night for instance) . Sky TV needs an upgrade ideally - esp if visiting from A home where the kids are used to lots of channels to choose from- and as it was Rainy, we could have done with more options. However- loads of dvds, books and games so lots to entertain the family with. Overall, A lovely large, well equipped base.

This is the second time we have stayed at Maes Arto Lodge, this lovely property in a quiet location. It is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The location is great for the beach, mountains and special rail journeys.Just a great property to return too.

The log cabin was beyond our expectations, we have never stayed in one before but will definitely be booking again. The log cabin looked great online, but even better when we got there. Everything that we required in the kitchen was there, more than what I have at home! The games cupboard kept the kids entertained while we got ready.

Maes Artro Lodge was in a great location with lots of heritage sites nearby and a friendly local pub within walking distance. It was a lovely lodge which was well equipped, warm and cosy.
