The large open-plan sitting room and dining area is the perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day’s exploring, complete with Freeview television and a DVD player. The sitting room also features an unusual nook, which is part of the old hall, and decorated with memorabilia. The fully-equipped, modern kitchen has plenty of storage space and allows you to cook family meals and then clean up quickly with a dishwasher and a wipe-clean cooker top, without taking precious time away from your holiday.

The property has three attractive bedrooms, each with a calming, individual feel, ensuring you’ll sleep like a baby. Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, and there is also a relaxing family shower room. The property can easily fit three cars in the car park, and the smartly paved outside space has a table and chairs for meals al fresco to take advantage of the amazing views.

There’s no grass area for the kids, but with fields as far as the eye can see, there’s plenty of space for them to run around where you can keep an eye on them. With so much open countryside, you could be forgiven for thinking there’s nothing to do within easy reach, but the whole area is ideal for cycling, walking and horse riding, and you can visit the local shop and Bolingbroke Castle, which are within an easy one or two mile walk, or explore the incredible sight of the Snipe Dales Nature Reserve, followed by a visit to East Kirkby Aviation Museum which are just a few miles further on foot. Should you need a break from all that peace and tranquillity, Ramsden Hall is within easy driving distance (30 minutes) of Lincoln and its beautiful cathedral, or take a trip to Skegness and the seaside, just under 20 miles away.

With antiques in Horncastle, RAF Conningsby and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Tattershall Castle, the WWII Aviation Trails and a whole lot more to see, there’s always something to do, no matter what the weather does. You might even catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows in practice.
