Lots of room, great for a family get together
Lovely clean spacious apartment which h looks just like the photos shown. It is,well provided with kitchen equipment which made family cooking easy. The welcome gifts of wine and chocolates were appreciated, as were the provision of tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and so on. The room layout was slightly quirky but not a problem. The noise from the market square didn't cause us any problem, and having the local supermarket next door was really lovely. It would have been nice to have had some board games and perhaps another table in the living room, but these, are minor quibbles. We would happily recommend it to others.

Nice apartment
The apartment lives up to the pictures and is nicely decorated and spacious. The chocolates and wine are a nice touch. The shower & bath are great. There is noise at night from the street so be aware if you're a light sleeper. The market also sets up very early on a Saturday. But it is on a central street so the location is very good for bars, restaurants and walking. Little things to improve it would be a new lock on the main bathroom door as it falls off, a new bin as the lever is broken and another key would be handy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Very decent apartment but there will be noise.
Very decent well sized apartment that is lovely and clean although some of the layout is a little odd ? large rooms although you couldn?t open windows in 2 of the bedrooms which is a tad annoying if you like fresh air. Also the apartment is located above a night club and you can expect noise from late evening until early morning on a Saturday night and Buxton can get a bit let's say lively so if you are a light sleeper it will have an impact on your stay (I am not so I was fine). However a very decent apartment and if I return to Buxton I would quite cheerfully use it again.

A fantastic break away!
I stayed here with my husband and 2 children in January. We were visiting friends in Buxton and needed somewhere to stay in a central location. We chose this apartment as it seemed to have everything we wanted and we weren't disappointed. The apartment is in a lovely old building just off the Market Place with several shops and amenities close by. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, lots of room and well equipped with everything you would need! All the rooms were modern and well decorated and we especially liked the kitchen and the shower/wet room as having young children this is a big bonus! The beds are really comfy and we all slept really well with very little noise especially as we slept at the front of the building but this was due to the windows all having double glazing. We will definitely consider this accommodation again when we need to visit Buxton.

I want to give this 5 stars, but really can't :-(
This is a beautiful apartment, newly refurbished, well decorated with lovely furnishings and it could have been so perfect for our family weekend away. Sadly, it wasn't. The apartment is in an old building, above and very near to a busy pub and nightclubs. The windows (beautiful sash windows with shutters) are single glazed. Even with the windows and shutters as tightly closed as we could get them, the noise from the pub, music and revelry outside was so great we could hear the individual conversations of the people outside. On the Friday night the music and noise continued until 2 am, and on the Saturday night there was loud music until 4 that made the floors vibrate, and noise outside until 5 am. For two families with 5 small children aged 7 months to 7 years, we're used to interrupted sleep, but this was really too much to cope with. It's such a shame, a lovely apartment in a great little town, but if you can't sleep, it's really not worth staying here at all. Internal double glazing might help to reduce the noise levels somewhat. We'll visit Buxton again, but won't stay here.
