Perfectly lovely!
Very spacious, beautifully equipped, with access to a pretty space in the garden. Clean as a new pin. Penny and Walter couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming hosts. They'd put out an extraordinarily generous welcome basket of delicious local produce. The farm is a lovely and historic place to walk, and we had a sunny sleepy picnic by the lake.
Because the coast path bends round Pembroke the exquisite Freshwater beaches are about ten minutes by car in each direction, and a long and particularly beautiful stretch of the coast path is very close. The sea was Mediterranean blue and we saw seals several times. The National Trust Stackpole Estate is great too, and we enjoyed seeing Kingfishers there. We enjoyed excellent meals out at the Stackpole Arms and Old Point House at Angle. I had a lovely cycle ride with the Simons on quiet and beautiful roads.
Just go... you won't regret it. We hope to return very soon.
A perfect holiday.
