Perfect with a capital P
This was such a lovely well presented cottage. It was tastefully decorated and so so clean. It was extremely well equipped too which is fab. It was lovely and warm and plenty of hot water available too which is always great. The master bedroom was wonderful and such a comfy bed as was the twin beds according to the children. Everything was so clean and everything worked perfectly too. It is 1 min walk from the town centre of Wooler which is a busy little market town which has everything you would need. Perfect location for walking up in the hills and discovering the beauty of the rest of Northumberland . Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here and we hope to be back soon as we have family in the area. I have lots of pictures of the beach and hills on Instagram - @mileswithmontydog. It is always great to find a dog friendly cottage too. Thankyou Marie and Jeff for a wonderful stay. It was also lovely to get a text from the owners to check we were ok too. It's the small things that count xx

Home from home cottage
We had a lovely week at Magpie cottage, they really had thought of everything from a slow cooker to a sandwich toaster the kitchen was very well equipped. The master bedroom is very spacious and the bed so comfortable. We wanted for nothing although we knew the owners where available if we needed any help. Its well placed in the village with everything you would want in a village on your doorstep e.g butcher, bakers, coop, cafes and bars, the Anchor pubs Sunday lunch is fantastic. We parked on a piece of land available to anyone next to the cottage. We would definitely recommend and book again.
