What can we say...just Amazing!
We booked the accomodation for a belated birthday celebration come family summer holiday and are we so glad we did. The accommodation is outstanding, every single tiny detail has been carefully considered. The quality of the finish is fantastic and the beds are sooooo comfy.
We came as a party of 4 adults and 6 children varying from 3-13 years and the cottage catered for every single person.
The hot tub, the garden, the ride on tractors, the cupboard filled with the contents of Smyths Toys board games aisle, the TV's that rival a cinema and the kitchen were highlights for our family. The huge fridge freezer with ice machine, made the children's holiday!
Paula, Stephen and family made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and they even gave us a tour of their farm and came to the rescue when my mum's mobility scooter broke!
The cottage is out of this world and if you are in two minds about booking, have no reservations and click book. We made some life long family memories here and we will be back! X
Wow what a holiday cottage has everything and more than you need wonderful kitchen with plenty of pots & pans and dinner & breakfast utensils even for all 11 of us. Smart TVs in all rooms and bedrooms with magnificent en-suite bathrooms real luxury. The hot tub and garden are great and we're enjoyed by all ages. Thanks again Paula for the wonderful pavlova for our sons 40th birthday it really didn?t last to long and for all the information of places to visit. Thank you again Paula & Steven for having us stay at your magnificent cottage and hope to stay again keep up the good work I have no hesitation in recommending your wonderful home.
The best ever!
Wow! What an amazing holiday let, the best we have ever stayed at. It is difficult to write down everything which made this a most brilliant place to stay but I'll try!. Paula and Stephen are great hosts who thought of everything to ensure we had a great time at Town Farm. Communication before we arrived was fantastic and Paula offered to be there for the online shopping delivery. All the beds were extremely comfortable and were made up to our requirements The kitchen was extremely well equipped - not just the statutory 1 cup, knife fork, plate etc each - so catering for all 10 of us was not an issue especially with 2 ovens, microwave and combi oven and numerous tins and serving dishes and utensils! Christmas dinner could easily be cooked in this kitchen! The whole house was spotless, comfortable and beautifully furnished so had a real home from home feel about it. A bathroom for everyone is such a great thing and meant we could all be ready in good time and be out to enjoy the beautiful part of the world in which we found ourselves. We had such fun in the hot tub and I was most impressed that it was maintained every day by our hosts - such great service. The outdoor play space was great for the children and Paula even fetched a sit and ride especially for the smallest member of the family and fishing nets for plodging down by the river. There were also loads of games and puzzles for all ages so everyone was catered for. It is obvious that a lot of time and effort has been put into Town Farm and this has paid off in bucket loads as it is absolutely stunning! We arrived here by default as the property I had originally booked became unavailable but are not sorry at all and we were all very grateful to have been able to experience this property at the start of it's journey. Thanks again to Paula (amazing pavlova! soooo kind!) and Stephen, such lovely hardworking people who deserve every success with this project. We would wholly recommend this place for a get together of friends and/or family as it has everything you would need - even sheep in a field at the end of the garden! Proper job! Amazing!
Can?t thank Paula enough for the effort she put in to making our trip amazing. Prosecco chilling on Arrival with a beautiful afternoon tea! The cottage was absolutely spotless and presented beautifully. Everything is provided! Everyone said the beds were the comfiest they?d slept it! It really was the perfect place. We can?t wait to book again!
Fantastic Relaxing Weekend Break
Booked a family 'get together' weekend to celebrate big sister's birthday; not allowed to say which one. The bedrooms were all outstanding, so no arguments there. The kitchen was 'to-die for' so sharing catering was a pleasure. Sitting in the hot tub on Saturday night was a highlight. The cottage was so fabulous and clean we could barely drag ourselves out to discover the local amenities. However, we did visit the renowned Bowes Museum in nearby Barnard Castle and had a fabulous walk in the beautiful deer park at Raby Castle, Staindrop. Owners extremely helpful and next time we will definitely book the catering offered.
