Lovely stay in the heart of the Scottish Lowlands
We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Rowan Cottage. The hosts were very welcoming, and keen to help us with planning walks and trips (even finding a stash of OS maps). The cottage has been done to a very high standard, both functional and very comfortable - great to light the fire after a long day out on the hills. The location is great for exploring the north and east of Scotland, as well as going up into the Cairngorms. It is such a peaceful location, but not a miles from shops, restaurants and places to visit. Definitely recommend it.

What an amazing holiday !!
Where do we start?amazing cottage, fully equipped and very cosy, special touches that make all the difference with a cake and wine on arrival, and even milk in the fridge. Amazing hosts?Sarah and John are around if you need them and always on hand to help and offer advise on where to visit. Amazing area, with so much to see and do, from costal visits like Cullen and Lossiemouth to lovely inland drives to explore the Cairngorms beautiful scenery. You will not be disappointed and will want to go back as soon as you have to leave! We will be back !!

Absolutely amazing
Rowan Cottage is set in the most amazing countryside and is so quiet. The cottage itself was spotless, with everything (and more) we could need. It was warm and cosy inside with a private garden area to sit out with a glass of wine and watch the local wildlife.
We had an amazing week, Sarah instinctively knew what to recommend we do - from following the Whiskey Trail to seal watching at Findhorn.
We were out adventuring every day but coming home to the cottage was always the highlight of the day!
