To the rear of the property is a garden with a private patio hosting a hot tub and furniture that leads out to a shared, sloping lawn; ample off-road parking can also be found on the farm. The property enjoys ground-source underfloor heating with a woodburning stove.

The kitchen houses an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There are also two TVs with Freeview, a DVD Player and WiFi in the cottage. Fuel and power are included in the rent.
