Lovely but room for improvement!
We visited this accommodation for a week in August and were very happy with our holiday. The lodge itself is fantastic, was quite well equipped and was very clean on arrival. The views are stunning and the hot tub was obviously the biggest bonus! We had little contact with the owners / staff during our stay, but they were welcoming when we arrived. This place is in the perfect location for travelling to nearby towns and beaches and is set on a lovely farm. We had a wonderful stay, but there are just a couple of things we wanted to point out: We feel that all windows on the bottom floor (bathroom and side window) should have a blind or curtain, particularly as it's such a busy little place and we felt our privacy was hindered at times. Additionally, a better brush or even hoover would be ideal as it was hard to keep the floors tidy. Lastly, during the week we had a little issue with small black bugs coming in from under the big french doors (they stayed around the door). We didn't raise this as an issue at the time as it's probably expected in the countryside and didn't cause us much bother, but it could be something to look at for the future. However, we really loved this accommodation and would definitely return if we were in the area again! Thanks.
