Plum Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion with eco credentials set just outside the pretty village of Colebrooke in Devon. Tastefully renovated, the modern, bright living space is equipped with woodburner and underfloor heating and is an ideal getaway for couples at any time of year. The ground floor consists of an open plan living room with a kitchen/dining area at the rear; all equipped for comfortable and enjoyable stays.
Upstairs, there is a spacious bedroom enjoying views of the orchard and a smart shower room. To the front of the property is a seating area with garden furniture for taking in the rural views and planning your next day out. There are two good pubs within a short walk of Plum Cottage and the local facilities of nearby Crediton are within a short drive.
Alternatively, roughly 30 minutes away, you have the cathedral city of Exeter with its many shops, bars and restaurants. Walkers will be in heaven with plenty of countryside trails to follow. Walk 15 minutes to Yeoford and hop on the Tarka line Real Ale Trail or venture just 20 minutes from Colebrooke to be within Dartmoor National Park.
This modern conversion offers a fantastic base for romantic breaks or active pursuits away from the bustle of busy lives.
RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Excellent
Top quality cottage and welcome from owners. Highly recommend. Felt I should clarify that the walk to the New Inn is a walk along the lanes and requires a certain level of fitness/ability. The food is delicious. The other pub think called the Mare and Foal has limited opening hours and doesn't appear to be much thought of by locals. Cannot review entirely as was closed when we (walked!) to it. This should not deter anyone from booking Plum Cottage as that cannot be faulted but details of where to go need updating.
