The main chamber on the ship, with a carved wooden rectangular table, with benches around. This was the main gathering place for all the 'gentlemen' on board the ship. The furniture was brought by these same gentlemen from their homes. So if you had a favourite chair at home, you'd package it up and transport it to your ship and take it with you on voyages. The walls are panelled in the linen-fold style so popular in Tudor and Elizabethan times.
