The bridge at the south end of Victoria Tower Gardens was built in 1932 to a design by Sir Reginald Blomfield. The bridge is predominantly red, the colour of benches in the House of Lords, while Westminster Bridge, at the north end of the Houses of Parliament, is predominantly green, the same colour as benches in the House of Commons.
