The Falls of Glomach is one of the highest waterfalls in Britain at 113 metres (370 feet) high. The Falls are set in a narrow cleft in the remote countryside above Morvich. To reach the falls requires a 10-11 mile walk taking roughly 5 hours.

The Falls of Kirkaig is a wonderfully scenic waterfall on the River Kirkaig, south of Lochinver, on the main approach route to Suilven. The walk to the Falls can be combined with a longer walk and ascent of Suilven, or it can simply be a more sedate outing in marvellous Sutherland scenery.

A few decades ago you could have confidently said that most people came to Glenfinnan to view the Jacobite memorial (aka The Glenfinnan Monument). I'm not sure that's the case any longer. Though certainly many people come to the Monument, many also make their way to Glenfinnan to view the historic railway viaduct, drawn by the Glenfinnan association with the Harry Potter series of films.
