Teapot World (Teapot Museum)
Teapot World is without a doubt one of the world's most beloved and treasured museums. Well perhaps I exaggerate a teeny bit, but if you want to trace the history of that most British of pastimes, tea drinking, this is the place to come. Hundreds of teapots are on display, dating all the way back to 1740.
UPDATE:
The Teapot Museum has become Teapot World, and is now more shop than museum. The shop caters to teapot collectors, with a focus on late 19th century and 20th century novelty teapots, including pots made in fantastic animal forms, or to look like birds, fish, or even buildings. Special sections include Royal Leighton Ware, miniature teapots, antiques, and vintage teapots. There are also books on collecting teapots, and the shop offers a valuation service for your own teapots.
