Great location and well equipped cottage.
Chose the village of Embsay as friends and family live near by and my husband grew up here. The cottage had everything we needed and clear instructions are left which are very helpful. There are lovely views from the back of the cottage and we were lucky enough to sit out on the veranda with a cup of coffee/tea a couple of times. Parking was sometimes a problem but we usually found someone quite close. We spoke with one of the neighbours who was obviously a local and she was very friendly. We didn't have any issues but would imagine some people would struggle with the stairs.

The cottage was lovely and warm and always lots of very hot water, the Rayburn was a lovely added bonus. The television in the sitting room was good and with a second one in the dining room was ideal, with our little granddaughter in tow, she could watch her programmes as she wanted. The open fire was very cosy, and added to the Christmas feel.

The property was in a lovely position, with lovely views. It was very comfortable with cosy furniture.
Mrs Baines

The cottage was a good base for us, we enjoyed the walks and the sights. The Elm Tree Pub was great, people very friendly, and so close to the cottage that we ate there every night.
Mr Mitchell

The cottage was cosy, rayburn and open fire were big bonuses. Quiet area surrounded by farms. Friendly local pub nearby. Loved the traditional d?cor, and overall cosy feel of the place. Fuel being provided was a nice touch too.
