This property is a single storey detached cottage that has been tastefully furnished and is able to sleep up to six people in comfort.

This property is delightful and sits on the shores of Loch Awe within the owner’s grounds. There is a bright modern kitchen, a sitting room with a wood burner and the dining room has doors leading to a decked area. Accommodation is provided by three spacious bedrooms, an en-suite shower room and a family bathroom, and outside there is a decked area, large lawned terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. The garden has a burn (Scottish word for stream) at the bottom. The location of this property is very special and offers welcoming and comfortable accommodation that makes an ideal base to discover the area or simply a place to get away from it all and makes a memorable holiday base for the whole family.

Excellent holiday
We wanted a remote area and got it. The B road to the cottage is a single track road with passing places and is situated 14 miles around Loch Awe one way and 7 miles from the other end. The cottage is gorgeous. We particularly liked the wood burner, two bathrooms, cosiness, and bird table in clear view. I liked having a daily cuppa at the table watching the birds, red squirrels and rabbits on the veranda. On arrival we were greeted with scones and jam and the friendly and very helpful owners provided bird food, fishing tackle, an abundance of logs and useful information. The area is beautiful and the short walk to the private area of the Loch with the jetty and summer house makes it extra special. Not one complaint or niggle from us, everything made our holiday very relaxing.

Have been to dozens of self-catering cottages over many years, this ranks as one of the very best! We would love to go back.

This is a superb cottage, a home from home. We were made very welcome the owners. The cottage is in a lovely area, very idealistic. We enjoyed that much cant wait for next year.
Mr Liddle

We had a wonderful week at Blubell Cottage. The cottage was perfect. We had great weather and the scenery and hospitality were second to none.
Mrs Phoenix

Owners very friendly and helpful. The cottage was one of the best places we have ever stayed and we would recommend it to anyone and intend to return.
