This terraced cottage is located in the centre of Skipton and sleeps five people in three bedrooms.

Sweeps Cottage is a lovely mid-terrace cottage in the centre of Skipton. With three bedrooms, a king-size double, a double and a single, it sleeps five people comfortably. There is also a bathroom, a sitting room with dining area and a kitchen.

Outside, there is a patio and also off road parking for one car. Sweeps Cottage is a fantastic base for a Yorkshire Dales break.

Stayed here with family during November. This place is perfect. Sleeps up to 5 and has literally all you need, including free WiFi which is always a plus when you've got the chidlets with you. It's literally right in the middle of town so there's never too far to walk and also has the benefit of allocated free parking. Great communications from the owner, who makes your self check in a total doddle. Very clean, warm & friendly little place. Would definitely use again when in Skipton.

This must be one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. It was spotless. Convenient for the town and eating places no need to use the car. One thing that would be handy, an airer to put any washing on outside. I would certainly recommend this cottage.

Lovely Cottage
This is a lovely cottage in a quiet, peaceful turning, yet in the centre of Skipton. Turn right out of the front door and within a minute you are in the high street, turn left and at the end of the lane is the canal.....a perfect location. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything you could need, including free Wi-Fi, a good collection of books and DVDs, a welcome pack on arrival and under floor heating in the bathroom (not that we needed it in August!!). There is only one parking space, but there is a large car park just over the other side of the canal if you have more than one car. I cant find fault with this cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next visit!

Very comfortable and central
I booked this cottage based on the reviews and affordable price One parking space so if you have 2 cars you'll have to park one elsewhere. The cottage is modern and warm. The kitchen is fully equipped - no pizza cutter though - and is of a modern design. You can dine at the kitchen table or a larger dining table in the living room. The heating control is in the living room with instructions in a folder. The beds are so comfortable I had trouble getting up in the morning - warm and excellent mattresses. The bedroom I had at the back of the house didn't have any electric sockets next to the mirror. So to dry my hair I had to go into the single bedroom which had sockets beside a mirror. When you leave the house turn right at the front door and follow the path right along to the Main St. Turning left still takes you there but a longer walk. I wouldn't recommend this house for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly. The path in front of the house is cobbled and uneven in both directions. The stairs to the bathroom and bedrooms is steep and accessed by a high step from the kitchen. There are handrails but it could be an issue especially as the only bathroom is upstairs.

The cottage is beautiful and in a great location. We were able to visit other villages easily, it was convenient for shops etc. Really enjoyed it!
