We have been coming back to kiplin park lodges for 5 years now. We were last there in February and as always it was great. A warm welcome from mick who is on site all the time for any assistance. Also now run by George's son and daughter in law who are doing a fabulous job and have kiplin park in great shape. All the lodges have been updated new beds showers ects. Birthday Weekend
We stayed in the Surrey Lodge this weekend which is at the top of the park, for my birthday and my friend's 50th. We had a fabulous time relaxing with Prosecco in the hot tub and taking the dogs lovely walks. We have been 3 times now and love it. The lodges are lovely, large and dog friendly. The owners and maintenance man are friendly. The fizz and box of chocolates was a nice touch. The hot tub is clean and checked every morning. I love the remoteness and the sound of owls, woodpeckers and birdsongs from the nearby woods. There are pubs but quite a few miles away. We walked to Scorton and had a few in the Farmer's Arms which is a nice pub with good food. Would definitely recommend. (The only thing I would say is take a couple of beach towels for the hot tub.)

The location was perfect, set back from the main road with nothing but woodland and fields for neighbours. The nearest village and town were only a short drive away. The owner was a real friendly chap and was there to greet us and attended to anything we required. The missus loved the hot tub and I enjoyed the long walks with the dog watching the wildlife and the world go about their daily business.
