Perfect winter getaway
My wife and I took our dog and 8 week old son for our first family holiday in the week before Christmas. In the peace and quiet of this farm location we enjoyed visiting local areas, walking along the coast and relaxing in the cosy cottage. The owner was in touch well in advance with plenty of information about the cottage and surrounding areas so we were well prepared for our stay. Upon arrival, we found the house in pristine condition and the welcome pack left for us including wine, mince pies and treats for the dog was a lovely touch. The house had everything we needed for days in during bad weather and the information sent to us via email gave us plenty of ideas for days out. We visited Sandymouth Beach, Atlantic Villiage, Hartland Quay, Clovelly and also walked along the coast just two fields over. It was a very positive experience from start to finish and the location provided us with some much needed time away as a family in a very well presented and looked after cottage. We felt very at home and would certainly recommend The Buttery to anyone wishing to relax and enjoy time away from busy schedules enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

The Buttery is an excellent property. It is very comfortable and in an ideal rural, quiet, relaxing setting. It is very well equipped with a great deal of thought going into everything you could possibly need in holiday home. It is obviously very well loved and cared for. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

This cottage was excellent in every way; a brilliant location, the only noise you heard was the birds and the view was lovely. The cottage was very warm and cosy.
