Booked this place in 2021 for Xmas break in 2022. Had to cancel and gave 8 months notice.
The owner Suzanne Jenkins made things very difficult to refund my £300 deposit, so much so, I had to go down the legal route.
The photo's on the site looked great but I was shown a video from a friend which painted a completely different storey.
This is not the way to do.business.
If you book and have to change your mind. Be aware! You will loose your deposit even though there was no disclaimer in place to say otherwise! Not a professional business woman at all.

Friends and family break
We have spent a tremendous week at the coach house. Ten of us altogether ranging from 84 years to 14 years, plus two dogs, and the place satisfied EVERYONE. Just incredibly relaxing and also fun.
Firstly, the house is just incredible and so very homely. Suzanne and Dave make you feel so welcome and at home without any intrusion - perfect hosts! NOTHING is too much trouble (and I am high maintenance!)
Garden is fenced in so completely dog friendly
The hot tub, sauna and bbq hut offer a perfect party/chill zone depending on the mood. Huge amount of time spent here and due to the set up the British weather did not impact - we just loved this zone and we are now sourcing our very own hut!!!! These guys have everything you need - the house is totally resourced as it the hut and they even offer robes for your comfort when moving between the house and sauna/tub.
Location is great - there's lovely walk literally at the end of the drive. Couple of pubs just down the road. Some totally awesome sights to see a short drive. But you could just stay here.
We ordered a Tesco delivery which arrived the evening we did this was perfect and allowed us to enjoy from the first moment.
Top tip - Suzanne's brother makes cider and WOW! His moon cider is just delicious! Wood available here so no need to buy or bring. Seriously I messaged Suzanne every day almost asking for something (coder, wood, advice?) and she was right back to me as if it was my first request every time m.
Enormous thank you to our wonderful hosts - you guys are fabulous. We would return in a heart beat and would recommend to all!

60th Birthday and Ruby Wedding Anniversary
What a find so close to home. We stayed for 5 nights from the 17th November.
The property and amenities are wonderful and could not have found a better place for our celebration.
It was great to be told about the Rural Retreat for extra relatives to stay over at.
Everyone enjoyed themselves, we attempted a bbq on the Saturday night and it was wonderful at this time of year to do this indoors with everyone together, warm, cosy and music. It was really useful to have all the facilities in the building and we just had to bring down some food that we had prepared in the house.
The Grandchildren loved it especially the hot tub.
The location was great with stunning views from both the house and the Rural Retreat.
The only thing that we could not find was bins for the rubbish but David the owner came round on the Sunday, we mentioned this to him and he said he would bring some down.
Some of us went for Sunday lunch at the Navigation Inn at Maesbury Marsh which was very nice although a long time due to staff shortages and when we got back to The Coach House our rubbish had been sorted in to the bins, we were quite happy to do this ourselves but thank you David.
We didn't get to meet Suzanne but she was very helpful by email and text messages.
I would like to say on behalf of all of who stated that you have a wonderful property and we would love to come back in the future.
Best wishes for continuous success.

Absolutely Incredible
The Coach House is simply a world class venue. Stayed there with our university friends (all from the same household). We were met by Dave who had great stories, extremely friendly and helpful. The Coach House is stunning inside. The pics dont do it justice at all. Cosy and comfortable. Over the last 7/8 years we have stayed in a venue every year, but nothing has compared to the chill out area. Huge hot tub, wood fired sauna that is simple to get going and gets very hot, and the hut is sensational. Can have a bbq on there as well as have bevvies, stay warm and chat.
The owners are so friendly and helpful. What a fantastic weekend.
PS. staggered that there could ever be a negative review, so much hard work obviously goes into the venue.
Thank you so much

Outstanding is the only word!
Having recently stayed at this holiday let my first thing to say would be:
DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO PREVIOUS NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!!!
Being a hospitality professional with 20 years experience in luxury properties internationally, I was blown away by my visit. I appreciate there are negative reviews posted previously however if these are truthful and not completely exaggerated (as many trip advisor reviews are) then it's fair to say that Dave and Suzanne have taken points on board.
What I experienced during my visit was nothing less than idyllic perfection.
The location- FANTASTIC- close to amenities, pure silence at night, animals (alpacas, stunning horses and the friendliest K9s,) a mooch to the bottom of the road and a fantastic almost vertical trek to a wonderful viewpoint with breath taking views for miles!
The Accommodation - SIMPLE LUXURY - what do I mean by this.... everything was thought of. Super comfy mattress, all amenities, soft furnishings, crockery, honesty box for towels and robes, log burner in the living room, hammocks in the garden, ginormous snug with fire pit and grill, massive hot tub, barrel sauna, outdoor kitchenette and toilet with a super comfy ?goble me up? seating area. It was just fantastic! Perfectly Clean and comfortable!
The Hosts- HUGELY WELCOMING AND ACCOMMODATING - there really is not a great deal more to say! They were wonderful and should be extremely proud of what they have achieved!
All that's left to say is do not pay attention to negative comments on here as this really was a holiday let that completely exceeded expectation and as a fussy cow.... that is hard to achieve. I just ask.... please leave me space to return soon!!
Thank you Dave and Suzanna
