RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Lovely view but overpriced and rude owners and onsite hotel staff. Don?t stay if you have allergies for dogs.
After a 5 hour journey I had to then walk for 10 minutes where I didn?t know where I was going, with fed up kids to find the building to get the key for the property (when they could just put a key code box on the outside) and then when we finally got in to the property there were signs saying not to touch the owners alcohol which is everywhere. No welcome pack or anything nice apart from a few teabags and one toilet roll, for the price I thought it was very poor. The owner popped round at the end of the holiday to say thanks (I think) and could we turn off the outdoor lights as they were staying in a yacht which made us feel like we were being watched! The property has a beautiful view of the marina and is tastefully decorated and comfortable but little touches spoilt it like the bed was so lumpy with a huge bit in the middle so you had to sleep in certain bits of the bed and the owner has a dog even though the place is advertised as not allowing dogs so my husband was sneezing all the time and there was dog hair all up the stairs. The top floor room is lovely and my kids were excited to stay there but it was so hot up there even with all the windows open (and I went and bought a fan) that they couldn?t sleep up there luckily there was only 4 of us. We paid for a extra week and were told when we booked it that the linen would be changed and the house cleaned it wasn?t, they changed the linen (which had stains and holes in!) and that was it which again for the price I expect to have had a Hoover quickly put round and nice Linen! The marina had a pop up bar which was lovely but the staff in the actually hotel dart marina and the spa were so rude we didn?t bother to go to the restaurant but the pub next door was excellent very friendly and reasonable and Dartmouth is so beautiful with the steam train etc
