Meadow Brook Cottage is an 18th century, attached cottage beside a brook on a quiet hedgerow road a mile from the Devon village of Stoke Gabriel. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin with a family bathroom and a small dressing/cot room. On the ground floor is a kitchen and a sitting room with wood burning stove and a dining area.
Outside is a big garden over different levels beside the stream with furniture on a terrace, a seating area with barbecue and picnic table and a summer house on one of the lawns. A mile from the village by road or ? mile by footpath, Meadow Brook Cottage is a charming base for a Devon break in a tranquil location.

Really lovely cottage!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meadow Brook Cottage. The outside living space is fantastic and our kids enjoyed exploring the gardens and paddling in the stream.
The local area is great too with a couple of good pubs withing walking distance. We also enjoyed the beaches at Goodrington and Blackpool Sands.
Would definately recommend this place for a stay.

Idyllic
Meadow Brook Cottage is a charming, idyllic place to stay close to Stoke Gabriel, Brixham, Torquay etc. Excellent facilities including exclusive parking space, TV, Wi-fi (free), this property is ideal for discovering the Devon coastline, and is located in an area of outstanding beauty. Village of Stoke Gabriel is approximately one mile away, and easily accessible on foot or by car. The cottage is built on a hillside, and its approach is quite steep (not really suitable for disability) nevertheless its charm and gardens are great. Our dog loved the freedom of the outside facilities. We will certainly visit again.
