This attractive, detached house lies in the centre of Cartmel in Cumbria and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.
The White House is a well-appointed, detached cottage situated in the South Lakeland village of Cartmel. It boasts four bedrooms; a super king-size with en-suite bathroom, a double and two twins, sleeping eight altogether. There is also a bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen/breakfast room, a dining room, sitting room with open fire and an additional snug/library room.
To the outside is an extensive lawned area with croquet lawn, vegetable patch and fruit orchard within a walled garden, as well as a patio area with furniture and ample off-road parking. The White House provides a fantastic base for families and large groups to make the most of all the Lake District has to offer.

old and worn out
Second stay in Cartmel, we booked the white house over a year before our stay to celebrate our Peral Wedding with our grown up Children , the location is great and the size of the house and the gardens is massive, unfortunately the inside of the house is dirty , old , outdated and worn out , the carpets were shocking and the house smelled, as a result we left early, for the money we paid I expected a lot better. For information this is the first time that I have ever commented on any holiday that we have been on so this will tell you how disappointed we were .
