There is also a kitchen/diner and a first-floor sitting room.
Outside, there is roadside parking and an enclosed courtyard with furniture and a hot tub. Trillo House is the ideal base for a fun-filled family holiday to North Yorkshire.

An absolutely beautiful house in a perfect location. We had a wonderful warm and friendly welcome along with a well thought out welcome pack.
The house is elegantly furnished, stylish but very homely. Kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. We were a group of 6 and had plenty of space for a very comfortable stay.
As the listing states, there are lots of stairs and the house is located on a hill so not for anyone with mobility problems. Parking permits were provided but parking is scarce so be prepared for a short walk to your car. All clearly explained in the listing.
We would thoroughly recommend Trillo House, it's friendly owners have thought about everything that guests might need.
Beautiful house in Whitby and a lovely family holiday ?
Such a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Whitby. The house was absolutely stunning and exceeded my expectations. The house was spotless and and very welcoming on arrival. Wonderful welcome gifts too...so much thought has clearly gone in to this and it's the best I have ever experienced. Absolutely nothing I didn't like about the house and beds super comfy. We didn't want to leave! Hot tub a bonus too and it was used often. Owners Izzy and Edwin couldn't have been more helpful and super friendly. Parking can be an issue but easy to find spaces once you know where you can/can't park. We had 3 cars and didn't have any issues with parking at all. Parking cards are provided on arrival and also a welcome pack/guide with lots of useful information about Whitby and other places of interest.
Loved everything about this house and Whitby...we will definitely be back!
Great house and great week with family
Booked a week away with family of 5 met by friendly owners with keys and they had left tea bread and groceries to welcome us
Large rooms and decoration and furnishings to suit a great house there are stairs in style of house to large bedrooms
Large kitchen diner was where we spent a lot of our time with all equipment there
Hot tub with folded gown and slippers on beds on arrival it's great in the morning sun
House close to harbour shops restaurants and short walk to cliffs and beach
Owners even called to see if we needed anything when neighbourhood had power cut very helpful
I recently stayed in this property and would like to say how disappointed I was with it
The property was well decorated with excellent amenities and comfortable beds.
However I am extremely upset about the poor customer service I experienced by 2 of the owners at this property.
Firstly, as listed it stated the the parking was off road only when we arrived this was not so, and was told to deal with it by the owner. We did however receive permits on the 4th day after paying for 2 cars on a car park.
Secondly a blocked toilet became our problem when it was suggested it had foreign objects in pipes
Thirdly, loose bannisters and broken rope on stairs
Again our problem when again suggested that had happened after we had arrived even suggesting that a member of our party has caused as as she had a disabilities
Only 6 chairs for 7 people (had to use a garden chair)
Unstable outside steps

We did expect a few problems when we arrived but this was not acceptable
