Castaway is a beautiful, light and airy, totally refurbished stone built mid terraced property set in the heart of Amble. Finished to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings the property makes an ideal base to explore the Heritage Coastline. Within a 50 meter walk you are on Queen Street (Amble's High Street) with an array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Further along you have the bustling Harbour where you can see the local catches being landed, the Harbour Village with its collection of retail pods and the Fish centre where you can visit the Lobster hatchery. Amble, also known as the friendliest port, is a small fishing town with a huge personality. Nestled on the Northumberland coast, it's an excellent base for a holiday in our beautiful county.
Take a boat trip from the bustling harbour to Coquet Island, a RSPB nature reserve located just off the coast, and see the colourful puffins, rare roseate terns and appealing grey seals. Back on dry land, why not sample the culinary delights of freshly caught seafood and local produce at The Old Boat House or Sea&Soil bistro's - both local favourites.
