A real gem
This newly renovated cottage has been fitted with excellent quality furnishings and equipment. It is spacious, warm and comfortable. Everywhere was absolutely spotless and the kitchen housed a large fridge/freezer. The double bed was so comfortable too.
Parking on the roadside was fine, we were able to park right next to the gate!
We rate this cottage as an equal to the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It is superb.
The village is quiet but access to major routes is easy.
An excellent base to tour this beautiful area. We would certainly return.

Stunning Cottage
This has to be the best cottage we have stayed in over the last 20 years! Really good sized rooms (especially the sun room), everything you need for cooking and a garden to die for. The village is lovely and peaceful and perfectly placed for visiting the nearby coast (we called everywhere from Redcar to Robin Hoods Bay).
We would not hesitate to stay again and can recommend this to anyone.
