An isolated country church near a lost medieval village, St Andrew's is worth the effort of getting to for the quite wonderful Norman door. The door is of three moulded arches, quite beautifully carved with traditional Norman motifs.

St John the Baptist is a 13th-century church, heavily rebuilt in the Victorian period. The highlight is a beautifully carved late medieval font with figures of woodwoses, and a hammer-beam roof hidden under plaster for centuries. In the churchyard is a rare sundial carved into a gravestone.

The highlight is a series of 15th-century glass tracery panels, and excellent Victorian stained glass windows. In the churchyard is a 'Faint House', supposedly a place for women to loosen their stays in private, but actually a small schoolhouse.
