Stanton is a picture postcard Cotswold village in north Gloucestershire, just south of Broadway. There are great tourist attractions here - the attraction is the lovely Cotswold stone cottages and the countryside setting. By the side of the road is a medieval cross shaft, topped by a 17th-century sundial. At one end of the village is Stanton Court, a 17th-century manor. The parish church of St Michael and All Angels dates to the 12th century.
