There are superb walks from the door, including the Cleveland Way National Trail this is a 109 mile (175 km) walking route through beautiful and ever-changing landscapes, and the very popular Wainright Coast to Coast walk, the scenery and the location is ideal for exploring this unspoilt part of North Yorkshire. Close to this Danby cottage is the pretty village of Lealholm, with stepping stones across the river, two charming tea rooms and a small garden centre.
