This modern ground floor apartment within a late 18th century building retains many of the original features including wooden beams and stone pillars with patio doors opening out onto the cobbled wharf on the banks of the river. Leith boasts a very vibrant community with a wealth of pubs parks and community events. It has become the top foodie destination in Edinburgh and among the best in the UK with an enormous choice of restaurants within a small area including a Michelin star restaurant opposite.

The area enjoys a thriving Continental atmosphere . Ocean Terminal boasts excellent shopping as well as a cinema complex bars and restaurants some overlooking the Royal Yacht Britannia Commercial Wharf is also just a short walk away. The 12 mile Water of Leith Walkway offers a lovely afternoon walk it runs from Leith to Balerno a designated Urban Wildlife Site and home to over 80 species of birds and patches of ancient woodland passing many points of interest including the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art Royal Botanic Gardens and Dean Village.

The area has an excellent regular bus service into the city centre which runs day/night the bus stop is just 200 meters from the accommodation. There are ten local golf courses within 3 miles and the beautiful East Coast offers some of the best areas in Scotland for golf with a wide array of stunning and historic courses. Walking into the apartment from the secure entrance you will find the bedroom and bathroom off the hallway.

The double bedroom is bright and comfortable with French doors allowing access straight out to the cobbled walk way and Water of Leith. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. The open plan lounge/kitchen has an electric oven and hob fridge microwave washer/dryer.

The lounge area has views over the water and has a TV DVD and hi-fi to allow you to relax and enjoy a night in should you wish there is also a double bed settee in the lounge/kitchen area. There is a large private car park at the rear of the property and a communal grass area for residents to enjoy.
