125 Smedley Street is a luxurious, duplex apartment set next to the owner's home in Matlock, Peak District. With one king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower room and dressing room and one double bedroom, both with TVs, this holiday property can sleep four people. There's also a family bathroom boasting a double Jacuzzi bath, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire and doors leading to a balcony with furniture. A separate reading room and a utility room complete the accommodation. Along with a large balcony area with furniture, guests have access to a private patio garden and there is parking available opposite the cottage in a car park. 125 Smedley Street is located close to many popular attractions, and offers lovely, luxurious holiday accommodation for couples and small groups.

Perfect apartment We stayed here in July and the apartment was a real piece of luxury. On pulling up in the car, we were a little anxious about our chosen accommodation. However on entering we were quite simply astounded. The views are stunning and the place is so spacious. On arrival the scones were a wonderful treat as to was the tea and coffee tray and milk in the fridge!
We enjoyed spending time in Buxton, Bakewell, Gullivers Kingdom, Heights of Abraham, Matlock bath and Matlock Park as well as Crich.

Absolutely Perfect In Every Way First class apartment which is, by far, the best we have ever stayed in. The flat was spotlessly clean, it was modern, lovely and light, beautiful balcony and views, walk in wardrobe, double Jacuzzi bath and easy parking just across the street It was amazing! Plenty of space - wonderful.
Met the owners who were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Home-made scones on arrival with jam and cream! An abundance of towels which, we have found with most self catering places, you are charged extra for. Not here!
Lovely area quiet and just perfect. Have already booked up for next year, just wish I could go again before then!

Lovely New Year Stay A lovely Xmas/New Year stay at Matlock for myself, husband and my parents.
As we arrived a box of foxes biscuits greeted us with a bottle of white wine chilling in the fridge along with some milk and an abundance of chocolates in a festive Xmas tree, the apartment its self had been decorated for Christmas which we thought was a lovely touch.
We found the place to be very warm once all radiators were on and was very cosy.
Only down sides for us was location wasn?t great but saying that we drove down the steep hill to Matlock and parked up there then walked about the area from here.
In the apartment we found the front bedroom to be quite dark and drab also the beds weren?t the best so for us it just didn?t quite meet the 5* that some other places we have stay in did (but we would however rate 4&1/2* I?d able to)
The jacuzzi is a great touch, the lighting is well thought out too.
Overall a really nice stay here and we would definitely recommend to anyone wondering if to stay or not. Thanks for a great stay. R90R 2018-01-01
Wonderful apartment After the trip from Harwich to Matlock it was very welcoming to have fresh scones and milk for a proper cup of tea waiting in the apartment.
We had a lovely time in Matlock, despite the weather. After a day of sightseeing or shopping returning to the apartment felt like home. The Jacuzzi bath was very relaxing and our daughter loved playing in the water.

Amazing! We stayed first week in July 2017 and this was our second visit, having stayed 2 years ago. This apartment is superb and is equipped to a very high standard. Comfortable, excellent location, stunning views, and the jacuzzi bath is wonderful. Central location for touring the local area and there is plenty to do and see. A short walk into Matlock if you want to leave the car behind (although a steep hill on the walk back). The owners are lovely and on hand should you need anything.
