A Fabulous holiday
We have just got back from one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever taken. The shepherds hut is in a wonderful location with panoramic views. The hosts gave us a really warm welcome and had left is a surprise of organic bread,local cheese, butter,scones,jam,eggs and wine. The hut is really well designed and equiped with everything we needed to a high standard. Even a telescope to view the amazing stars in this dark sky area. We will be back next year.

The perfect base to get away from everything and explore the area.
A fabulous base from which to explore the North or just relax and forget the pressures of the modern world. Wake to the sound of curlew & lapwing and look out over the stunning scenery and you could even be lucky enough for a deer to wander into the field. I couldn't be more pleased to have stumbled across the hut when looking at Youth Hostels etc in the area. It's a long way to come from Cornwall and it definitely made a great trip that little bit more special.

We loved the peace and quiet. Peat Gate Shepherd's Hut was so different to anything we had stayed in before and we were amazed at the facilities in the hut for such a small area definitely booking again.

The Hut was extremely well appointed and furnished. It was great having such luxurious facilities but also being in the middle of a field with great views!
